timeshares
my timeshare (fully paid) has zero
resale value and high maint fees. No longer economical. what happens if I stop paying maint fees?

Its hard to say for sure since I am not the least bit familiar with where you live, or anything else about your timeshare, including what sort of agreement you have with them or the HOA. However, if you do not pay it and you are legally bound to pay it they could probably initiate some sort of legal action against you or maybe file a lien against the property. You should consult with a real estate attorney in your area before deciding to quit paying them.
