Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in South Carolina

''official'' sexual harassment complaint

If a subordinate tells me they told a co-worker ''f--- y--'' and the co-worker said ''I will'', did that meet the criteria for an ''official'' sexual harassment complaint towards the individual that made the ''I will'' remark? The f y remark was made by a female and a male responded with the ''I will'' - I, unfortunately, was a supervisor...The female only asked me if she was wrong in saying f y and I said ''yes''.

Re: ''official'' sexual harassment complaint

I'd say it's enough to warrant an inquiry. Follow your company's policies/procedures to the letter, and have your supervisor or manager speak to the company's legal counsel as soon as possible.
