Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in South Carolina

Is it possible to retrieve deleted text messages? I am a school teacher considering a sexual harassment suit against one of my administrators...who happens to be the person on staff that sexual harassment would be reported to! I had saved the text messages from him to me, but when my phone died, there went the messages. Thank you for your help.

Ask your cell phone provider about the technical stuff but you should be able to subpoena the records once you file a lawsuit.
