Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in South Carolina

if a employee of a company doing service work at your home and makes remarks like you are a baby doll would you like to go out and other remarks that make you uncomfortable, and you tell him not to talk to you any more and to leave then call their empolyer and reported him, they said they would handle it. what kind of follow up should i do if he comes back and does it again. or what other options do i have.

Sexual harassment law in the employment context doesn't apply here to you, as the questioner. You absolutely do have the right to refuse to allow him in your home again, and if you feel a crime has been committed, you should call the police to report it. You may also have a civil action under more egregious facts (I don't necessarily see one here, but this isn't my field of expertise). So, I would urge you to speak to either your local police in the event of anything that you think is a crime taking place (any unwanted touch that makes you fearful of harm, for instance, or him coming back to your home at all after you have told him not to come back - that's trespass), or a personal injury lawyer may be able to offer you other assistance.
