Legal Question in Social Security Law in South Carolina
My ex husband has applied for his SSI, and has had his hearing March 2010. The judge told him at the hearing that he would have a decision in 90 days, which has passed and he hasn't heard anything. How long does this usually take. He does have a lawyer but he can't get any answers from him.

Sometimes it takes six months. There is nothing your husband's attorney can do and he or she certainly does not know what is in the judge's mind.
