Legal Question in Traffic Law in South Carolina

I was arrested for Simple Possession and was given a surety bond of $620 which I personally paid in full. My court date is a month from now and I was wondering If I could leave the country for 3 weeks and return in time for my court date without any penalties or problems?

-When the judge told me my limitations "leaving the country" was not one of them.

By the way I am a resident of Virginia and was arrested in SC while on a vacation trip.

If you are restricted from that sort of travel per the bond order, then the judge would have verbally informed you or it would say so on the bond form that you were given. If neither is the case, then you were probably not restricted. To be on the safe side however, you should contact and ask the court.

You didn't ask anything about your Simple Possession charge. If you have any questions you are free to call or email. There is several ways that can be handled.
