Legal Question in Traffic Law in South Carolina
car accident
I was in a car accident last november where a logging truck swerved from the right lane to the left lane in front of me to pull into the median. I hit him in the side. The cop said it was no ones fault, and the other guy lied about what happened. My car was totaled and I broke a bone in my face. I had car insurance but only liability and since the cop said it was no ones fault that doesn't help at all. I have a lawyer and he said the other guys claim adjuster offered 15,000. But my hospital bills are 22,000 and he gets 1/3 of what i get. That leaves me with about 10,000. I'm a single college student who works part time. What can I do?

Re: car accident
There are generally two things you can do with these type of things. One, settle and two, go to trial. If you have concerns about settling then you need to have a discussion with your attorney about going to trial. Good luck.
