Conducting a long distance race
My friend and I are trying to organize a long-distance race from columbia to Myrtle Beach. There is going to be a entrance fee of $100 and the winner recieves $700. The drivers know that we will not be held responsible for any careless driving such as wrecks, speeding ticets, etc. Is it illegal to conduct such a race? If so what can be done to make this kind of race legal?

You really need to ask the State these questions. Try calling the Licensing Board in Columbia.
