Legal Question in Traffic Law in South Carolina
I have a controlled substances violation from marijuana on my record in south carolina. I was told it won't be on my dmv record after 10 years after I got my license back. If a background check company already found out about this violation can they store it and bring it up again after the violation is off my official dmv record. In other words am I screwed.

A person's driving record in South Carolina only goes back 10 years. Anything older than 10 years should not be on your driving record. That 10 years has nothing to do with when you got your license back. Please understand that a driving record is different from a criminal background record. A criminal record does not have a limit as far as how far it goes back in time and will show every charge there every was. Unless of course something was expunged.
As far as your questions is concerned, I honestly do not understand what your asking. When you say, "....can they store it and bring it up again...." I do not understand what you mean.
