Legal Question in Traffic Law in South Carolina
driving under suspension
i was recently pulled over for expired tag,my license was suspended, and i was also classed as a habitual offender,i was given tickets for the tag,a DUS ticket, and a habitual offender ticket, which i believe is a felony, and allowed to be taken home, not jail.3 days later there is a warrant for my arrest for the habitual offender ticket that i had already received, can they do that? sign a warrant out for me for a ticket that i had already gotten?

No they can't. There must be a mistake. Have you tried simply calling them? Are you sure that the warrant is for the same charge as the ticket was?
