Legal Question in Traffic Law in South Carolina
failure to yeild right of way to ped.
if i am the ped. and was not in the street how could i be charged with this crime? i only stood and observed some officers make an arrest. plus i was not read my rights. was my civil rights violated? i also wasn't driving or riding a bike.

That's a good question. I would need the Code or Ordinance number in order to see what exactly you were charged with. Based on the very little amount of information you provided something doesn't make sense. If you can call if would probably be easier. Robert Johnston
