Legal Question in Traffic Law in South Carolina
NJ driver gets SC speeding ticket
I was driving with the flow of traffic and issued a speeding ticket for 84 in a 60mph in SC. I am from NJ. I was very surprized when he pulled me over as I wasn't even passing anyone. Do they have PFJ in SC? The fine is 185.00 and 4 points. Will Sc inform NJ? I can hardly afford to pay the ticket let alone hire an attorney. Any suggestions? W

Under NJ law, an out-of-state moving violation does result in points for a NJ driver.
