Legal Question in Traffic Law in South Carolina

registry

On May 7, 1994 I was involved in a DUI accident. In October 6, 1995 I enrolled in the ADSAP program in Rock Hill SC costing $300.00. I moved to Georgia in March 1998. In September 29, 2000 went to Columbia SC and I paid all reinstatement fees to be able to gain a license in Georgia. I was given a clearance letter stating so. Septmeber 30, 2000 I obtained a Georgia license and drove for 4 years. On October 22, 2004 went to get licenses renewed. Was told by South Carolina there is a National Registry hold on my license. Called Mr. Freeman at Keystone where I attended this ADSAP program and was told they destroy all their records that are 7 years and older.

What legal right do I have to have South Carolina clear the National Registry for me to get my Georgia licenses renewed?

Re: registry

Most people in your situation simply visit a DMV office and they will tell them exactly what needs to be done to clear up any problems.
