Legal Question in Traffic Law in South Carolina
Ticket out of state for Misrepresentation of Identification
I was given a $250 written citation while in S.C. I paid the amount via money order, but received a letter stating my license has been suspended. It was my understanding from speaking to the officer who issued the citation that if I payed the citation I would not have to appear in court. Can I appeal this matter even if they did not receive my check in the mail?

Your question is hard to answer because you didn't say what the citation was for, nor when it was. There are things that can be done, but I need more information. Robert Johnston 843-828-1137
