Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in South Carolina

My biological dad passed away May 23rd 2024 they say he left everything to my stepmother and she suppose to redo the will for whoever she wants to get my dad's things and belongings and money. But she has no kids I'm the only child of my dad's other than deceased brother. So I'm I intilted to anything of my dads

I'm sorry to hear about dad's passing.

Do you know how much money or property your father had, approximately? Was he a millionairre, for example?

In any event, as the biological child you are entitled by law to receive copies of documents and be satisfied that dad's estate was handled according to law. If no one in the family is going to give you information, the only thing you can do is go to the courthouse and file papers.
