Death of a beneficiary

My father passed away in SC two years ago and left his estate to my sister and I in equal shares but left his home in a life estate for my stepmother. Now my sister has passed away and while the rest of the estate is settled the home is still in a life estate. When my mother in law passes away will I be the sole inheritor of the home or will it be divided between my and my sisters heirs?

Without knowing the precise language of the instrument creating the life estate and remainder interests (which may be either the will or a deed from your father's executor) this question cannot be answered.
