What is the difference in Power of Attorneys
My Husband is getting ready to go overseas on business and I need to be able to take out a loan and handle all decision making, Do I need a General Durable Power of Attorney? or what kind of Power of Attorney do I need so that I can handle all decision making?

A general power of attorney will serve your short-term needs. They are good for one year, and can be extended. They are available in generic form from a printing or business supply store, or on the net. Don't forget to file the completed/signed form with the county clerk in your county.
