Technically no, but the answer to this question depends on the reason for asking. It depends on what type of property needs to be probated, why there was delay, whether there was a previous estate opened, etc. Also, there are instances where a full probate proceeding isn't necessary, depending on the type of asset or value of the asset. www.altonlawfirmplc.com
