hurt at work due to thrid party, had to have surgery, work comp want to settle can i still sue the thrid party. even if i settle with workers comp

I have handled many cases where I sucessfully settled a Workers Compensation claim, AND a Personal Injury case. However, every case is different and you need to be very careful on how to proceed. These situations where you have two claims can be very tricky and you can severely hurt one, or both claims if not handled property. You also have to know which case and what parts of each case that must be concluded before other parts. Plus, there are medical bills and liens that will need to be treated differently when you have both claims. I know that I have not been specific with my answer, but that is because I do not know anything about your particular case.
