illegal drug screening test and workers comp benefit

Can I be denied workers comp benefits if I test positive for cannibas use from my chronic pain physician even if I have a lifetime benefit award settlement from an injury I sustained at work 10 years ago in which I was left with permanent paralysis from my waist down(paraplegia)?
