If the injury to your 2 fingers also affects your hand or arm, (which it probably does) then you may be entitled to significantly more than 75 weeks. In fact, you may have a claim for your reduced earning capacity. You should also be able to have future medical treatment paid which could be significant, to include prosthetic fingers. The insurance carrier will not tell you these things and happily settle your claim for a fraction of what its worth. I would recommend against settling your case quickly without an experienced attorney helping you. Try doing a search on lawyers.com or martindale.com for an AV-rated workers' comp lawyer in your area or try to find a workers comp lawyer rated 10.0 Superb on AVVO.com in your area.
