Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in South Dakota

Harrassing phone calls

My daughter's father calls me late at night (midnight on) just to harrass me. What legal right do I have to put an end to these calls. I understand that he may want to talk to his 2 year old daughter, but has no reason to call this late at night.

Re: Harrassing phone calls

Write him a certified letter. Explain to him that late night calls upset the household routine and you will not accept any calls after a certain hour. Surely your daughter is asleep by 8 or 9, isn't she? Get caller ID. Don't answer the phone for him after the hour you specify.
