Wedding photographer contract

We are in a contract w a wedding photographer who is proving to be very unprofessional. She takes anywhere from1-4 wks to respond to emails and is extremely rude when we do get ahold of her. Her contract states if we cancel w/ in 6 months of wedding we have to pay her in full. How iron-clad is her self made contract?

WHat is your deposit?

I would want to see contract to advise, but 4 weeks to respond to a relevant email re:upcoming assignment could be construed to be a breach of obligation under the agreement, giving rise to rescission.
