mandatory doctor visit
i have been having some problems at work....forgetting some parts of paperwork,leaving things out etc, according to my boss,i can be made to see a doctor to see whats wrong. is this true? why can my medical history or whatever be given to my employer?

You should review your employees policy memorandum, if the company has one. It does seem to me that your are being given the opportunity to resolve your problem with company support, nothing you said imparts that the company is after invading your medical records, and you can make that very clear to whatever physician you go to, viz. that you absolutely do not want your employer to see any of your medical records. It may be possible to avoid this entire situation, if you seek your own medical assistance, from your own physician. That may make you feel more secure. It does seem, however, that the company is willing to pay for the doctor they refer you to, but it may be worth your peace of mind to go to yout own doctor, and pay for it yourself.
