Child Abandonment
I have not heard from my sons biological father in over a year or received child support since Oct. 2006 is this grounds for child abandonment also can my husband adopt my son if that is grounds for termination of his parental rights?

There are a lot of issues here. How old is the child? Although it seems he is a no goodnick, how is he as a dad? Is your fiance an appropriate person? What is your ex's income? Can he care for you and the baby?
Until some of these are answered there is no way to properly assess your case.
