Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Tennessee

i am a junior. My dad as senior. He passed away in 1990. Do I still have to use the junior on my name?

You are not required to use Jr. Surely by now any debts he may have incurred prior to death would have been settled. Was his credit good? If not, you may want to retain Jr. as a way to insure you maintain a separate credit file.
