Legal Question in Disability Law in Tennessee
employment
I have been working for a company for
10.5 years as a full time employee. I
came down with cancer 2 years ago.
My comany has just cut me to part
time help and have taken away my
medical benifits as well as retirement.
I am a 57 year old woman.. can they
do that.

You may have rights under both ERISA and the ADA to not be discriminated against. This means that it is likely that when the employer does this, the law is being violated.
