which is the bankruptcy that you get to keep your things and pay bankruptcy fees, etc...? will you be able to keep things that are put into bankruptcy?

Chapter 13 is the wage earner bankruptcy section. It differs from the Chapter 7 liquidation in that in a 7 all of your assets are gathered together by a trustee and sold to pay back your creditors. It is important in determining what type of bankruptcy to file that you look at your financial condition, any equity in your property and discuss it with an attorney that handles bankruptcy cases routinely.
