Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Tennessee
Chapter-7
I rent a furnished trailer to a tenant who just filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy. Under what statue does he rely on to include me as a creditor? What recourse do i have legally to remove said tenant from the trailer during or before said hearing? Does the tenant have a legal right to occupy the trailer with out paying his rent? As a retired person, the rent collected is nescessary to pay my own bills and any loss will put me in arrears with my own iou's.

Re: Chapter-7
Since the debtor owes you money, you are a creditor. You must seek relief from the automatic stay in order to proceed with an eviction. Your claim for rent is a priority claim. You should seek the assistance of counsel.
