Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Tennessee
legal aid
i am a single mother of 2. i need to file bankruptcy. i do not know if i can afford an attorny. is there legal aid for this in the state of tn or in my area, williamson county. what are the income requirements, i seem to be just above requirements for any other kind of assistance in this county. what can be turned in for bankruptcy? i have a mobile home that is less than a year old.

I do not believe that Legal Aid handles
bankruptcies. You may have to resort to
a private lawyer. If your bankruptcy is
not complicated, you may be able to have
a private lawyer take the case for a smaller
than normal fee.
