Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Tennessee
I got a motion to dismiss on my chapter 13 case. I have missed about 8 months payments in total over the years, but i have been paying 7 years and 2 months on a 5 year bankruptcy. shouldnt we have some money built up to cover what i have missed? my chapter 13 started on 7/15/2010 and im still paying

You should immediately contact your bankruptcy attorney (the person that filed your case). That attorney should still be on the case and let you know what the situation is. Also, you should be able to go on to the Chapter 13 Trustee's website and get a report that will show you exactly what you were required to pay and what you have actually paid. Its odd that you've been paying 7 years on a 5 year plan. You'll need to have advice from your attorney on that because that doesn't seem correct (from a bankruptcy perspective). Hope this helps.
