Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Tennessee
I have a quitclaim deed/foreclosure
I was awarded the house in the divorce but the loan is in my ex-husband's name. I am behind on payments, is it possible for me to file Chapter 13 to save the house?? Thank you, Pam

YES, you could do a chapter 13 bankruptcy. In a 13, you can pay off the arrearage and the current payments but it's difficult because it would come out of your paycheck. You must be employed to do a 13.
