Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Tennessee

I recently have filed for bankruptcy by myself and they want the last six months of my bank statements. I have been working a lot of overtime recently so my income is not the same as the income that I stated. I’m worried about this I don’t want to get in trouble. Should I look at withdrawing from this bankruptcy or is there a way to get out of showing your bank statements?

If you are in a Chapter 7 you cannot withdraw it without a motion and court approval. If you are in a Chapter 13 if you don't commence making payments within the first 30 days your case will be dismissed.

Unfortunately, you are at risk that you filed schedules under penalty of perjury that were not truthful. You can go back and amend Schedule I, to correct the income and note in the box at #13 in Schedule I.

Your best bet is to retain counsel in your area to assist you in this. I recommend that you do so.
