Car Note Owed In Bankruptcy
You need to catch up on your payments and, in the process, do what is called a reaffirmation agreement with the creditor. The reaffirmation agreement means that you intend to keep the car and keep making payments on the car. If you cannot make enough payments to satisfy the creditor that they are protected with a reaffirmation agreement, the creditor will very likely file a motion in bankruptcy court to reposses the car.
