What can stop a foreclosure if I am four mths behind on our house note. My husband has a regular job

If your mortgage holder is unwilling to work with you to catch up on your payments, you have little choice but to file for bankruptcy protection. In a Chapter 13, you can protect your house, get your arrearage caught up and effectively reorganize your situation.
