Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Tennessee
student loan
loans was dismissed in bankruptcy in 1986, a collection agency is now trying to collect, who protects my law of not being come after again?

If this was a loan guaranteed by the federal government or a non-profit organization, it may not have been discharged. You need to talk to your bankruptcy attorney about this. If you cannot talk to your bankruptcy attorney, any attorney who handles these types of issues can be of assistance to you. You will need to bring in a copy of your loan documents.
