What is the timeline for a chapter 13 repayment plan?

You must commence your first payment within 30 days of filing. The minimum payment period is 36 months, maximum is 60 months. The goal is for you to be debt free except for your house payment when you come out. You then re-commence making payments directly to your home lender.
