Advice for Researching Internet Law Regarding New Fantasy Sports Game.

I am interested in getting some advice on how to do research on finding out the laws or restictions for a new business that is geared around a fantasy sports game. The main issue that needs to be addressed is if customers that pay to play the fantasy game, can they win money? It is not a gambling game or website. The game is built based on how well their pro sports teams performs. Players can make money if their teams perform well.

There are other legal issues that need to be addressed but I need a starting point. Any advice will help.

This area of the law is very complex. It is very dangerous to try to research this yourself. If the idea is sound and you think you can build a valuable business, you should contact an attorney to advise you. It is well worth the money, to make sure you are set up correctly.
