Legal Question in Business Law in Tennessee
Are Attorneys fees recoverable on Consumer Protection Suit
I have been ripped off by a Home Improvement Contactor. He has been paid and has not completed all the work. My county is 1 of 6 or 8 in TN that are covered under the Home Improvement Contractors Board. The contractor is in violation of most of the TCA's governing home repairs from $3,000 - $25,000. I am going to have to sue and had considered representing myself in general sessions court depending on if the Attorneys fees are recoverable or not. Thanks for any help.

Re: Are Attorneys fees recoverable on Consumer Protection Suit
Generally, attorney's fees will be recoverable in a lawsuit brought under the Tennessee Consumer Protection Act.
