Legal Question in Business Law in Tennessee
new boat
I bought a boat 7/19/08. When I went to pick it up the boat was damaged in the stores shop. The store says I have no right to a refund and I will be given a different boat instead. Do I have a right to a refund of the down payment and to cancel the contract with the finance company?

Read your contract for damage to the boat prior to delivery. Had the paperwork been completed prior to your arrival to pick up the boat, including title with VIN?
If not, they may be right if they can substitute an exact match.
