builder dispute
I had a contractor build a garage addition with a room above. this has taken seven months. now nearing completion the contractor says he's out of money. I have paid him for the complete job plus extras.
what do I do now

You need to have an attorney look at your agreement with the contractor before you pay him any more money. It's impossible to give you any sort of meaningful guidance on handling this issue without seeing the actual written agreement.
