Legal Question in Business Law in Tennessee
Company dicontinued support for a product ...
We took a 5 year lease on a newly marketed printer approx 4 years ago. In fact, we were one of the first to purchase this printer. The company that sold it to us has phased it out and is no longer offering supplies or support for that printer. We are left with a $13, 000 printer and a lease we still owe on for a machine we can no longer use. Can they just leave us haning like that? I thought companies had to support their products for up to 10 years.

You need to take your lease to an attorney to review your situation. A useless $13,000 printer is probably worth the couple of hundred dollars you may have to spend for a lease review.
