Legal Question in Business Law in Tennessee
I was given a contract from a large company to purchase a franchise on a note. I was told they were glad to have me as a new franchise owner. I was also given a Promissory note for a loan we agreed upon. As well as a confidentiality agreement. We agreed to start the business after a dispute she had with the client who currently had the territory was complete. She assured me within 30 days. Now she said she would not go through with it. She is very wealthy and i really need some good advice. Thanks

As a Franchise Attorney with over 30-years experience in franchising, I can say the following. In order to give you good, meaningful advice, a full review of all the documents is necessary. Transactions to buy a franchise are often complicated and require a specific level of expertise. Consult with a good franchise attorney to schedule a review and for specific advice.
