Can an officer be removed from a corporation without their knowledge or OK?

Yes, if they do not own stock in the company or they are not on the board. If they own stock or are on the board, then the officer should receive notice of the meeting to make the decision, depending whether or not the stockholders or the board of directors removed the officer. These situations are all different.
