Legal Question in Business Law in Tennessee

If you were held at gunpoint by a robber who came into the business you were working through a door that was supposed to be locked but wasn\'t due to negligence of the property owner. As in the defective lock that the management was aware of was not repaired. Would you have a case. Employer not providing a safe work environment? Documented lock malfunctioning for several weeks. Employee sustained bruises and is also seeking psychiatric help with the trauma sustained
