Legal Question in Business Law in Tennessee
I was hired as a consultant to raise fund for a ny company in september 1- it ended in December 15- they paid me 5k every month - I am base out of state in TN.
We had a contract that said the goal was to raise 3 M by end of 2023- but nothing that said if I do not raise fund I will have to reimburse the company now the Ceo showed up at my door and threatened me and my family with FBI, POLICE etc. it was really scary
He wanted me to make him a check on the spot- I was really scared-
Can you help me and review the contract - I know what he did is illegal - showing up at someone home to threatening them

Go tomorrow to the police station and make a complaint (or try to), and ask them where you can go and ask a judge to issue an Order of Protection.
