Legal Question in Business Law in Tennessee
rights of ownership
I bought a machine shop with a friend, 50/50. We have no contract, just a joint bill of sale. 2 years later, the friend refuses to do any work and we are at a standstill. What are my rights or possible recourse's? Best regards

Re: rights of ownership
It sounds like you have a partnership which is not functioning. What you need to do is legally dissolve the partnership so that he does not have a claim to ongoing earnings from it despite not putting in any of the work.
