do i have to supply current business records for a company i no longer own?

As a Franchise Attorney I can say the answer is probably not, but more facts are required. Who is requesting the records? Why are they requesting the records? When did you sell the company? How was the sale structured? What did the contract of sale provide? Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
