Legal Question in Business Law in Tennessee
If someone verbally and in email commits to using me for their work, but then doesn't sign the contract and bails out of the agreement, can they be liable for the time we have already invested in their project.
We were told the delay was because we were working with a grant project and that it would take time to receive the documents.

As a Franchise Attorney I can say it's not possible to answer your attorney question without more details. What kind of work? What exactly do the emails say? What do you mean by "the time we have already invested in their project?" Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
