How to stop a judgement
My wife had an auto repoed 5 years ago, before we were married. Now a different company has summond her to court for a judgement. our home and autos are in her name. why is this happening after 5 years of this already on her credit. now the judgement will be on for 10 more years. my question is can they collect it from community property and can we stop it from being entered at all.

Lawsuit cannot be stopped
Tennessee has a six-year statute of limitations on breach of contract, including a contract to pay off a car loan. If you want to stop the lawsuit, you will likely have to settle with the Plaintiff. The Plaintiff is entitled to go after your wife for judgment, because she most likely signed a promissory note when she took out the car loan.
